Went to sydney for 5 days. Didnt do much, mainly shopping,
help set up my brothers apartment, caught up with a few ppl,
scoped the place out and went back.
Things i bought.
1 pair of shoes
1 small soccer ball
1 limited edition stanley kubrick book 1 pair of sunglasses
1 french legionairre style hat
1 sony vaio laptop (+ bag)
1 vodafone card and mobile connect
4 DVDs (million pound note, kill a mocking bird,
Hitchock collection, Better Tomorrow 1-3)
1 CD (totoro soundtrack)
1 Mad comic
1 Empire magazine
Talking to nai trying to explain where i was, he said
can you see the UTS building, and im like , ummm, nah
cant see it. Then i look a bit left and im staring at
this big brown building opposite me. Its the UTS
builidng ! Ha, spaz. Anyway thats where simon works.
My brother's places is next to central bus station,
so close to everything. Walked to shops on george
st, walked to broadway, glebe markets, chinatown
and darling harbour. Will be spending mroe time there
soon, i reckon. Also his place is next to a pub,
that has coopers on tap, and live music. Like living
near the exeter.
Watched the footy at home, went out a bit
after, seemed like no one really cared, Definately
not like adelaide or port winning. Caught up with lap
monday, went down briefly to darling harbour.
Plane home tuesday , lining up to get hungry jacks.
Turn around, hey that guy looks familiar, its greg
matthews! Looked older in real life. He ordered burger
and chips, sat at the bar had a beer. Also there was
a baby just wondering around the airport floor. Well
the parents were kinda nearby, but still i reckon its
good when parents let there children wonder around like
that. Its good for the kid.
So I was with my mum eating hungry jacks, explaining how rebuy
tourneys work, and then look at watch its 2.12 ! Boarding
was at 2 , woops. Walk to gate, then on the loud speaker,
could the following passengers please go to the gate.
"Matthews and Nathan ! " Ha greg matthews forgot as well.
We got told off by some qantas lady about not checking our
flight details. They say they have too many flights to
anounce the boarding times for all the flights. Its a joke,
coz in singapore with so many more flights they anounce, yet
qantas domestic terminal doesnt. Leaving the flight, my mum
points out only greg matthews and i have our sunglasses on
inside the plane, hmmm, I guess he is trying to keep a low
profile.
